Dolce Singers

Dolce Singers is a finely judged chamber choir and non profit association based in Corsley, Wiltshire that sing an extensive and exciting range of repertoire. The choir promote choral music at its finest level ensuring that each performance has great depth of meaning and musicality.

 

The choir was formed by Musical Director - Daniel Robert Cushing and Secretary - Roma Galpin in 2020 to bring together like-minded individuals who wanted to connect through singing with an emotional, spiritual and meaningful purpose.

Dolce Singers perform at a range of venues across Wiltshire and Somerset with some of their most recent performances including Coleridge's Requiem, Parry's I was Glad and O Praise Ye at Downside Abbey, Duruflé Requiem at Holy Trinity, Bradford on Avon, Purcell's Come Ye Son's of Art at St. Cuthbert's Wells, Vivaldi's Gloria, Gjeilo's Sunrise Mass, Fauré's Requiem, Mozart's Requiem, Allegri's Miserere Mei, Brahms' Requiem, Haydn's Nelson Mass, Rossini's Petite Messe Solennelle at Chester Cathedral and Britten's Ceremony of Carols (SATB) with The Royal Harpist - Mared Emyr Pugh-Evans at St. Margaret's, Corsley. The most recent performance by the choir was of Rutter's Requiem and Haydn's Insanae et vanae curae.
